Ivan Hlinka tragicky zahynul

Trenér naší hokejové reprezentace, který nás třikrát přivedl ke zlaté medaili na mistrovství světa a ke zlaté medaili z olympiády v Naganu, před chvílí zemřel po tragické autonehodě.

Ivan Hlinka (54 let) se účastnil o víkendu vyhlášení ankety Zlatá hokejka. Když se dnes kolem jedenácté hodiny vracel z Karlových varů, kde se Zlatá hokejka konala, havaroval se svým vozem. Nehodu údajně způsobil řidič druhého vozu. Jedna verze praví, že vyjel na silnici z vedlejší. Druhá říká, že jel v protisměru, brzdil a dostal smyk, po kterém se Čelně srazil se Škodou SuperB, kterou řídil Ivan Hlinka.

Stalo se to necelý 1 km za výjezdem z Karlových Varů směrem na Prahu. Hlinka byl okamžitě převezen do Karlovarské nemocnice, kde se ho pokoušeli lékaři marně celých 40 minut resuscitovat.
