Johny Cash zemřel

Legenda americké country a i u nás velmi populární zpěvák Johnny Cash zemřel 12. září v 1 hodinu ráno ve věku 71 let v Nashvillské nemocnici. V pondělí 15. zaří byl pohřben za účasti tisíce hudebníků, přátel a známých v Tennesee v baptistickém kostele asi 25 km od Nashville.

Mezi jeho díla se řadí hity jako například A Boy Named Sue, Orange Blossom Special, Daddy Sang Bass nebo Ring Of Fire a hlavně Folsom Prison blues. V roce 1980 byl uveden jako nejmladší hudebník do síně Country síně slávy a o dvanáct let později také do Rockové síně slávy. Tímto se stal po Elvisu Presley druhým hudebníkem, kterému se povedlo figurovat v obou těchto síních. Po dobu své slavné éry získal 11 cen gramy.

Johny se narodil 26. února 1932. Nutno podotknout, že měl již od mládí problémy s alkoholem a drogami a s tím spojené sklony k násilí. Díky těmto závislostem měl často problémy se zákonem a strávil část života ve Folsom Prison a San Quentinu, kde také nahrál některá živá alba.

Před chvílí jsem se vrátil z klubu Sádlo, kde jsme uctili jeho památku s kapelou Johhy Cash revival. Opustila nás velká hvězda 20. století.

Co tam píšete za nesmysly. J. Cash ztrávil jediný den ve věznici a to v roce tuším že 62 a to při přejezdu hranic z Mexika do USA, kdy u něho nalezli celníci 1 120 tablet a tím upadl do podezření, že dělá drogového dealera. Všechno se ale vysvětlilo a šlo o legálně zakoupené tablety. Druhý den byl propuštěn.
