Rezervované IP adresy

IP adresy se dělí na veřejné, soukromé a rezervované.

Soukromé (privátní) IP adresy jsou v RFC 1918 rezervovány tímto rozsahem:

10.0.0.0	10.255.255.255	8
172.16.0.0	172.31.255.255	12
192.168.0.0	192.168.255.255	16

APIPA

APIPA je automaticky vygenerované IP adresa, kterou si počítač přiřadí, pokud nemá implicitně žádnou definovanou a DHCP server není dostupný. Má definován tento rozsah adres:

169.254.0.1	169.254.255.254	16

Jak zakázat APIPA

Zakázat přidělování APIPA lze v registry ve stromu:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters

vytvoříte novou hodnotu typu DWORD (pozor, registry jsou Case-Sensitive, takže dodržovat velká a malá písmena):

MULTICAST

Multicast slouží pro hromadné rozesílání na jednoho a více příjemců. (Fungují tak např. internetová rádia.) Má definován tento rozsah adres:
